Jamilah and Mauratae Engagement Fun in the Sun (Florida)

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Jamilah and Mauratae's engagement photo shoot. Jamilah and I were co-workers and she always had a very pleasant personality and always dressed very fashionable. I was pleased when she asked me to be her wedding photographer as I knew she would be a great client. I was happy to finally meet Mauratae (aka Boomer) last week. They make a beautiful couple and the love and chemistry between them cannot be mistaken. At the beginning of the shoot I asked them to take a portrait. Apparently they didn't hear me as for the first few minutes, they began dancing, hugging, kissing, and enjoying their time together. That worked out great for me as I just enjoyed snapping away. Below are some of my favorite pictures of the day. Thanks again Jamilah and Mauratae for choosing Shelly Edwards Photography and I'm looking forward to your big day in July.

Special thanks goes out to Michael Adderly for using his computer skills to allow us to see the pictures and text bigger! Thanks Mike :-)

Okkkkkaaaayyy....well that was mildly erotic...LOL. Four thumbs up.

And I concur...the ring and handprint in the sand was awesome. I'd patent or copyright that idea if it was possible...LOL.
