I remember when Lisa called me nearly 1 year ago very excited that she was engaged and thrilled that I was available on her wedding date. She came as a referral from Mabel Martinez (Thanks Mabel! :-)) who had inquired with me before. I met with Lisa and her mom and they quickly booked me for Lisa and Vance's big day. We chose to do a vintage 1950's library and diner theme to bring out her love for reading at the library and gave Vance a John Travolta/James Dean look to show Vance's edgy side. Lisa loved my song choice of You're The One That I Want from Grease to be the song we would work the story line around. I had never used a musical theme before so I figured we would be in for quite an adventure doing a musical theme in a library which is often associated with talking quietly and walking slowly! :-) It was quite an adventure indeed with us singing softly, dancing, and running in the library where other people were reading! :-) Several days later Lisa contacted me and told me that she was selected to be one of the brides competing on TLC's reality show, 4 weddings where 4 brides compete to win an all expense paid honeymoon!!! :-) I knew Lisa and Vance would do great because from I literally said, "Lights, camera, and action" during their library scene Lisa was energized and was it was amazing with how she naturally acted her role perfectly! :-) Vance glowed in her love and did great! :-) I went to a store and selected the items and layout I thought would be great to decorate their guest sign in table and escort card tables for their wedding to bring out their engagement theme and they loved and bought them :-)
Their big day was in February this year and it was beautiful!!! :-) However, I was unable to post their wedding slideshow until now due to the terms of their agreement with TLC. Every detail of their attire, flowers, decor, etc was breath-taking! :-) Their wedding was held at the beautiful Benvenuto in Boynton Beach, Florida (www.benvenutorestaurant.com) and their superb floral decoration was done by the team from www.danielevents.com It was a delight interacting with the team from TLC's 4 Weddings and it was interesting seeing the other participants. Special thanks to Sophonie Cherubin for being my assistant for the day! :-) Their episode (...And Two Wedding Crashers, Season 3, Episode 16) was originally aired on TLC's 4 Weddings on September 2, 2011.
