Florida to Jamaica, Jamaica to New York, New York to Florida, Florida to New York, New York to Florida! Wow, have you begun to get dizzy yet? :-) Well that was my life from July 23rd to August 4th :-) I enjoyed going to Jamaica for my family reunion, flying to New York for Simone and Nassive's wedding and to visit my god daughter, returning to Florida to then going back to New York a week later for Yvette and Eric's wedding last week Sunday. You might recognize my god daughter from a previous blog entry and on my main website when I did her shoot before I found out that I became her god mother. Since my return to Florida, I focused my energies on downloading photos, editing thousands of images, album designing, creating slide shows, returning emails and calls, ordering products, and the list goes on... Welcome to my life :-) That explains why professional photographers charge what they charge; the engagement session is just the beginning :-) I LOVE my job though as I am able to use the gifts I've been given to bless others with a lifetime of wonderful memories :-) I've included a few pictures below from my trips. I am working on editing pictures to show as slide shows for Simone and Nassive, and Yvonne and Eric's wedding. I will provide more details on their wedding in future blog posts. Until then, have a wonderful weekend!

hi shelly
this is my first time to your site. I saw the url on T Glenn hi5 profile. I love your site and you take amazing and wonderful pictures..I actually envy you(in a GOOD WAY that is):)
I have a few favourites like the Alecia and Craig where you took a photo of their footwear beside the bride's bouquet on the beach. I think that's cool and cute.
I love what you do! God bless and keep up the good work.
Hi Cleona,
It's a pleasure hearing from you :-) Thanks for leaving your lovely comment. I do my best with each client and am happy that you appreciate the results. I will be posting some new pictures soon so do check back and feel free to leave a comment.
Have a wonderful week!

WOW shelly!! All that travelling! Hope you are collecting Airmiles lady. The images from the last wedding are so emotional.
You have captured these with passion. I love your style and how you can describe every detail in your photographs.
Catch up soon missy!
Apresh
Hey Apresh :-)
Yeah, I really do need to start collecting airmiles! Hey, it may get me a free trip to Puerto Rico ;-) Both weddings were amazing! You're right, the last one was full of a tun of emotions! I can't wait to post the slideshows for the both of them. I am a detailed person and enjoy writing the narratives so that people can somewhat feel as though they were there with me. I guess I am really a photo-journalist in both sences of the word :-)
Thanks again and have a lovely day!

WOW! I cannot wait to see the rest of the pictures. it really pays to have a photographer in the family an dpresent at hte family reunion. I love ur hair. Pic of bride crying under veil... priceless.
Thanks Teka :-)
It's was great being able to be at the reunion to capture family members that I haven't seen in ages! Plus it was great being able to have portraits of my grand relatives who are in their 80's and 90's. My cousin and my dad's employee encouraged me to get a new hair style for the wedding and suggested this hair color. I loved the end results too :-) I love tears of joy so I was having a field day capturing the bride and groom expressing so much emotion! :-) Looking foward to posting the rest soon.
Have a fabulous day!
Shelly
