I recently enjoyed photographing the second part of Melissa and Georges' engagement session in Florida. I was contacted by event planner, Sherry Carey of www.chainofeventsbahamas.com about photographing her clients, Melissa and Georges for their engagement and wedding. They had already booked their photographer but Melissa and Georges were smitten by the images on my site and decided to book me instead. Melissa and I hit it off from the beginning and I was super excited when she requested to do the engagement story relieving their true life love story. The real story took place in both Haiti and Florida but the re-enactment took place in Florida. I particularly love the fact that their story shows that life is so unpredictable and that things that disappoint us (computer not working) might be the very thing used to change our lives in a wonderful way! Melissa and Georges are truly a lovely, fun couple and I'm definitely looking forward to the continuation of their love story on the their wedding day! :-)
Special thanks to Sherry for suggesting the fabulous location and lovely staff at So Cool Events in Miami for the ice bar scene (one more checked off on my wish list) where we braved 25 degrees weather! Thanks also to Ferra who did a great impromptu job as our bar tender and Sherry as my lighting assistant for the day! Thanks also to Christopher for your assistance with the home session!
