Melissa and George's Maternity Session (Florida)

It was a delight spending a windy, overcast Sunday evening with Melissa and Georges this summer! :-) Thankfully, the weather conditions were perfect for the kite to fly. Many of you will recognize Melissa and Georges because I've enjoyed sharing several photo shoots with them chronicling their journey through their engagement (www.shellyedwards.com/MGE) and marriage (http://vimeo.com/13640830) and now as we welcome their first child, a son! :-) We chose to go with a playful theme showcasing things Georges enjoyed doing as a child in Haiti and as he is about to share those joys with their son. It was cool seeing him so involved in the photo shoot so much that he bought the white pair of sneakers to rock with his son's shoes, awww! :-) As usual, Melissa is a delightful gem and she's so easy to work with! :-) She is one of those clients that have now become a friend in that we keep in touch with each other and even hang out. It was great having her sister along for this photo shoot especially seeing that she has been with us since the engagement shoot and she is one of my regular Facebook fan commentors! :-) Do enjoy the pictures, thanks again for choosing Shelly Edwards Photography, and looking forward to welcoming your son!!! :-)
