Annika and Sheldon's Maternity Session (Florida)

Annika and Sheldon... What can I say? :-) Ever since these two graced my lens, they were an instant hit! :-) From their timeless engagement session (www.shellyedwards.com/AnnikaSheldonEngagement) to their joyous wedding celebration (www.shellyedwards.com/SA) to their sassy post wedding glamor session (http://shellyedwards.blogspot.com/2009/09/annika-and-sheldons-post-wedding.html) Annika and Sheldon have found a special place in the heart of everyone who beheld their love and energetic personalities! :-) In keeping with the vintage theme used throughout their previous sessions, we chose to keep the vintage theme going for their maternity session combining a somewhat Bonnie and Clyde look, 1950s pinup, and semi country and western vibe. Given that we were going with vintage themes, as usual, Annika and I spent hours picking out clothing, props, location etc. In the end, I LOVE the end result! :-) I love the idea that Annika came up with to use crystals to spell Soraya's name as we wanted something unusual for the spelling. Special shout out to Sheldon for going shopping himself and choosing the hat and sexy blouse for the last set of Annika's pictures, go Sheldon! :-) Also, special thanks to my brother, Bruce for being our assistant for the day! :-) Thanks again Annika and Sheldon for a wonderful time and for allowing me the pleasure of photographing this major milestone in your life! :-) Soraya was born last Friday weighing in a 9lbs. 1oz!
